Sunset Lake sits at the headwaters of the Suncook River. A rocky-bottomed lake with an entirely wooded shoreline that is lightly developed, Sunset Lake is a pretty body of water. Containing the usual assortment of warm water fish, this lake is known for its good smallmouth bass fishing. There is a poor, unpaved, state-owned launch near a small beach.
