  Area: 206 acres. Maximum depth: 62 feet. Fish: Smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, yellow perch, hornpout. A natural body of water raised by a dam. Sunset Lake sits at the headwaters of the Suncook River. A rocky-bottomed lake with an entirely wooded shoreline that is lightly developed, Sunset Lake is a pretty body of water. Containing the usual assortment of warm water fish, this lake is known for its good smallmouth bass fishing. There is a poor, unpaved, state-owned launch near a small beach. Sunset Lake is an easy body of water to fish with good access for small boats.
